| Matthew Frankel
Matthew Frankel serves The Weinstein Company as Chief Communications Officer and Senior Vice President for Corporate Affairs, where he manages the Company's corporate profile and messaging, directs communication strategy and oversees corporate, trade and business press. Frankel is based in The Weinstein Company's New York office and reports to Harvey and Bob Weinstein.
Previously, Frankel served for six years at Rainbow Media, the programming subsidiary for Cablevision Systems Corporation, most recently in the role of Vice President for Corporate Communications, where he was the key architect in maximizing Rainbow's external communications for each of its entertainment brands, which includes AMC, IFC, WE tv, fuse, VOOM HD Networks, Mag Rack and sportskool, and overseeing broad strategic messaging for the Company.
Prior to his corporate experience, Matt worked on Capitol Hill, creating and executing communications strategies for a number of successful policy initiatives and political campaigns, serving as press secretary for the Democratic Leadership Council (DLC), Congresswoman Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) and as press aide for House Democratic Leader Richard A. Gephardt (D-MO). |
