Matthew Frankel serves AOL as Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications, where he manages communication strategy from its New York City headquarters.
Frankel's experience as a communications executive uniquely blends extensive corporate and political experience, with his work in media touching online, television and film.
Previously, Frankel worked at The Weinstein Company as Chief Communications Officer and Senior Vice President for Corporate Affairs, where he directed the Company's global profile. In addition, he has served Rainbow Media, the programming subsidiary for Cablevision Systems Corporation, in the role of Vice President for Corporate Communications, where he was the key architect in maximizing Rainbow's external communications for each of its multi-tiered entertainment brands.
Prior to his corporate experience, Matthew worked on Capitol Hill, creating and executing communications strategies for a number of successful policy initiatives and political campaigns, serving as press secretary for the Democratic Leadership Council (DLC), Congresswoman Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) and as press aide for House Democratic Leader Richard A. Gephardt (D-MO). |
