Robert Leonard is a Senior Vice President with Dan Klores Communications. He came to DKC with over a decade of media relations, public information, publicity, and crisis management experience and previous agency experience from Howard J. Rubenstein Associates, where he handled clients focused on healthcare, social service, law enforcement and government affairs issues. Robert also spent 10 years in the public sector, handling public information duties at such New York City agencies as the former Emergency Medical Service, the Mayor's Press Office, and the Fire Department, eventually rising to Assistant Commissioner for Public Information at the city's Department of Transportation. Just prior to joining DKC, Leonard headed up media relations for the Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc.

Mr. Leonard is a nationally recognized author and lecturer on media relations and crisis communications for public safety agencies.
